The *new* Secretary of Transport and Communications announced today (on a Sunday, naturally) that the New Mexico City Airport will continue it’s construction once 1.7 billion dollars worth of the airport is bought out by investors. A fter the news broke, the MXN went up 1.2%. This is Day Two.

According to the Secretary of Transportation and the new airport council, work will continue in the airport “until further notice” in order to avoid legal fallout regarding the thousands of contracts directly linked to the airport. A new report on an airport strategy will be drafted.
